Raytheon Australia is honored to be the Maritime Electronic Warfare Systems Strategic Partner, collaborating to procure, develop, update, and integrate a variety of EW subsystems to establish the Maritime Electronic Warfare System (MEWS).

We are in search of a Project Coordinator to bolster our Modernisation of Maritime Electronic Warfare Project Management Office. The Project Coordinator will offer essential support and assistance in project management, financial matters, and quality assurance. Responsibilities include coordinating vital tasks related to resource planning, risk assessment, process enhancements, environmental health and safety, security, and facilities.

The Role:

The Project Coordinator will execute a wide array of general administrative duties and will serve as the primary liaison within the program team, ensuring project objectives and deadlines are achieved.

As a Project Coordinator at Raytheon Australia, you will play a crucial role in upholding the safety and security of Australia by contributing to the delivery of sophisticated programs to modernize Maritime EW Systems for the Royal Australian Navy.

Skills, Experience and Qualifications:

  • Prior experience and accountability for implementing minor system and process adjustments to resolve issues and enhance work area efficiency.
  • Aptitude for setting and fulfilling daily objectives within one's area of responsibility to align with project goals and assignments having a moderate impact.
  • Proficiency in communicating with internal and external stakeholders within and outside the team and work area.
  • Ability to elucidate policies, practices, and procedures relevant to the work area to colleagues within the organization and to influence decision-makers when necessary, fostering collaboration on policies and practices.
  • Knowledge of workforce planning principles and the ability to create and sustain a workforce plan.
  • Skilled in identifying and managing risks and opportunities.
  • Familiarity with, and a willingness to assume responsibility for, environmental health and safety standards.
  • Experience working independently with minimal oversight on sizable, moderately complex projects and tasks.
  • Strong time management skills, adept at prioritizing multiple tasks and deadlines, ensuring timely completion of all assigned duties.
  • Consistently demonstrating ethical conduct and discretion in interactions, agreements, and dealings with internal and external parties.
  • Proficient in utilizing project management tools (Organizational Process Performance, Microsoft Project, etc.) and the Microsoft Office suite.
