**The role**:
We’re looking to add an Asset & IoT Device Specialist to our collaborative, experienced and innovative Digital Field Services team.

As the Asset and IOT Device Specialist, you’ll be South East Water’s Subject Matter Expert for all customer metering devices, including mechanical meters, digital meters, dataloggers and any other emerging technologies.

In the role, you’ll implement effective asset management processes, practices and systems that contribute to the financial stability and efficiency of the organisation, ensuring that assets are acquired and aligned with strategic goals. Your expertise will be invaluable in safeguarding the organisation's assets, optimising costs, and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards and policies.

Working with relevant stakeholders and teams, you will oversee the IoT device and analogue meter related performance and monitoring activities, reporting and issues management, complex metering cases, compliance programs, together with responding to all requests regarding device performance and maintenance functions.

**Who are you?**:
With a passion for working in fast-paced technology environments, you have IoT Device Management experience and hold a relevant tertiary qualification/s in engineering, technology, or a relevant trade.

Your experience in IoT Device Management, including issue investigation and rectification, provides you with the skills to read and interpret technical documents including legislation, standards, codes of practice and technical specifications and a sound knowledge of standards, procedures and legislation applicable to customer water metering and/or IoT communications.

Communication is a strength of yours, producing clear and correct written business correspondence and to communicate clearly with stakeholders and providing highly technical advice in relation to device management and the maintenance of the customer metering network.

You love to solve problems, using your strong analytical, judgement and resolution skills and have an investigative aptitude to follow a problem from its inception to solution. Knowledge of systems, data integration and processes to enable troubleshooting of device issues will be key, and your advanced MS Office Skills and high capability in utilising computer-based databases for data analysis, and retrieval will be important in this role.
