**Exciting opportunity to influence and deliver the strategic direction of the Careers Service at the University of Adelaide.**

Working under broad direction with a degree of autonomy, the Manager, Industry Engagement will lead, develop and deliver a considered and coordinated industry engagement strategy for the Employability, Careers and Student Academic Skills (ECSAS) unit. This includes working collaboratively with internal stakeholders to lead the development and delivery of a partnership framework for industry engagement across the unit, including development of a considered approach to relationship management, communications and promotions and documentation to drive the growth and development of new partnership opportunities. In addition, the Manager, Industry Engagement has responsibility for identifying and piloting new and enhancing existing events and initiatives for students to connect with industry and industry to connect with students with the aim of enhancing the student experience.

**To be successful you will need**:

- Demonstrated knowledge of the Australian higher education environment including national policy, strategies, issues and practices of employability and the enhancement of university-employer interactions.
- Demonstrated experience in relationship and partnership development and stakeholder management, including a successful record of building close and productive relationships and partnerships with diverse internal and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrated experience and expertise in effectively and strategically developing, leading and managing multiple activities and projects in a complex environment with competing deadlines and multiple stakeholders
- Demonstrated experience in process management, maximising the functionality of relationship management systems, implementing process improvements, including guiding and training team members to a high standard.
- Strong influencing skills that develop internal and external relationships through effective cross collaboration and desired behaviours.
