Due to continued growth, an opportunity has become available for a quality minded, experienced full time **Production Coordinator - Quality **to join our modern production facility located in beautiful Burleigh Heads.

**The Role**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Drive a small team to deliver on daily, weekly and monthly KPIs to ensure that the volume of production units meets target competition timelines
- Set quality standards with the other Quality leadership members and ensure that the standards are maintained by your team
- Ability to review technical specification information and interpret for the team
- Responsible for managing the process of supplier sample development by measuring all samples and recording outcomes for Proto Sample, PP samples and shipping samples prior to fit sessions.
- Complete Quality Control checks of incoming goods from Offshore, Australian suppliers and contractors of assigned bridal stock, Ready to Wear gowns and CMT to strict guidelines
- Responsible for bulk garment QC by Identifying marks, flaw, stains and fabric faults on RTW garments, analyse construction of garment including workmanship and finding best solutions and efficient outcomes to rectify problems and minimise losses.
- Striving to maintain 100% stock QC “pass”
- Discuss a plan for any rework requirements of “failed” stock with Production Manager to ensure any QC issues from bulk are repaired to minimize factory failures
- Complete quality reports and documenting issues weekly reporting to Production Manager to ensure issues can be communicated back to manufacturers/makers.
- Driving and supporting all QC functions for RTW to run smoothly from receipt, delivery, heM/Fit and final review.
- Responsible for verifying qty’s received against PO’s and reconciling discrepancies with Production Manager.
- Prioritise orders to achieve team and department KPIs
- Understand and follow technical specifications and quality control manuals
- Identify garments for fabric faults, flaws, stains and/or marks
- Analyse construction of garment including stitching, finishing and stretch allowance

**Essential Knowledge/Behaviours Required**:

- Extensive knowledge of production quality requirements and standards achieved in a similar role
- Knowledge of garment construction is crucial.
- Previous experience reading and interpretation of Tech Packs
- Strong communication skills - written and oral
- Demonstrated effective time management skills
- Ability to work well independently as well as within a team environment
- Superior attention to detail and a commitment to quality
- Exceptional work ethic, high energy and with strong multi-tasking and organisational skills
- Ability to meet daily goals and deadlines
- Intermediate level computer literacy
- Ability to effectively contribute to brainstorming and other idea generation activities
- Ability to inspire others and work independently or collaboratively within a team environment
- Abide by safe work practices & adhere to company and legislative requirements relating to Workplace Health & Safety
