Salon Coordinator

**Position Purpose**:To maintain and exceed standards of excellence in the client experience, ensuring the smooth operation and overall flow of the salon.
**Main Responsibilities**:
- Manage the rostering of all staff, ensuring adequate staffing levels to meet client demand.
- Oversee stock control and inventory management, maintaining optimal levels of products and supplies to support salon operations.
- Balance transactions at the close of business, ensuring accurate financial records and adherence to accounting procedures.
- Open and close the salon on a day-to-day basis, ensuring a welcoming and professional environment for clients and staff.
- Deliver exceptional customer service, addressing client inquiries and concerns with professionalism, empathy, and a positive attitude.
- Guide and mentor apprentices, providing training, support, and encouragement to enhance their learning and skills development.
- Coordinate and facilitate team-building meetings and activities that foster collaboration, creativity, and a harmonious team environment
**Additional Duties**:
- Fulfill other duties as required by management, department personnel, or the salon owner.
**Required Qualifications**:
- Proven experience in customer service, reception, bookings, and administrative tasks.

- Excellent attention to detail: Possessing a keen eye for detail and demonstrating strong written skills when communicating with others, both internally and externally.

- Sound knowledge of computer and POS systems (Fresha experience is ideal but not necessary)
**Job Type**: Part-time
Pay: $25.29 - $28.45 per hour
Expected hours: 24 per week
