As a Procurement Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in our supply chain management, ensuring the timely and cost-effective procurement of packaging, tags, trims, and new materials. You will be responsible for developing, sourcing and maintaining these essential components, as well as collaborating with suppliers to support our product development and production needs.

Reporting into our Procurement Manager, this role will allow you to grow, develop, and contribute to sustainable and responsible sourcing practices.

**IF YOU ARE INTERESTED, THIS IS WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE AS OUR PROCUREMENT COORDINATOR**:

- Source and develop new materials to a brief, meeting sustainability, quality, cost, critical path, and design guidelines.
- Source and develop consumables, trims, and hardware such as labels, tags, stickers, retail bags, hangers, zippers, etc.
- Consolidation of trims and hardware to optimise consistency, quality, and cost.
- Create tech packs based on design, functional, and commercial requirements.
- Receive and evaluate vendor samples, provide feedback, and gain stakeholder approval.
- Negotiate cost-effective pricing with vendors.
- Source suitable vendors where required.
- Forecast raw material needs.
- Maintain vendor communication for on-hand inventory management.
- Coordinate with QA for testing and approval of new materials, trims and hardware.

**SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE**:

- 2 + years' relevant experience working in production, sourcing, or supply chain coordination.
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build and maintain supplier relationships.
- Offshore garment construction knowledge and supply chain management
- You will be able to think on your feet, be creative, and not be afraid to change the plan of attack.
- Experience working with a diverse range of stakeholders, with highly developed negotiation skills.
- Be ethically minded.
