We are currently seeking Trailhead Academy Sales Manager to join our growing sales team within the Customer Success Group (CSG). As a critical member of the GTM team, you are responsible for establishing relationships with our license sales and Success teams to understand, evaluate, and drive customer success through tailored enablement plans that builds a culture of learning inside companies. The Sales Manager will formulate and implement a sales strategy within assigned territories, drive revenue growth by penetrating the current customer base, and develop new customers in their assigned space.

You will work as a trusted advisor to deeply understand the outstanding business challenges and goals our customers face relating to the people side of CRM and digital transformation, working with them to position the right training and enablement solutions. By inspiring change and enablement by participating and leading client meetings or engaging other corporate resources as required, as well as participating in regional forecast calls and account planning sessions.

As a First Line Sales Manager, you will be managing and developing a team of Account Executives. You will participate and lead in client and prospect meetings as well as work cross-functionally with stakeholders and corporate resources as required. You will be responsible for ongoing mentoring and development of the sales team which includes recruiting, hiring and training new team members on sales process. In this role, you will report on sales activity and forecast to senior sales management.

**Responsibilities**:

- Hire, train and lead a team of Trailhead Academy Account Executives
- Drive tailored learning strategies for our customers with the entire Trailhead Academy portfolio
- Facilitate qualification, discovery, deal cycle participation, and account reviews
- Increase awareness of our learning offerings among internal teams and our customers
- Build pipeline, accurately forecast sales, log activities
- Drive bookings and revenue across large territories in the region
- Collaborate with account teams on strategic initiatives to drive success
- Meet and exceed an annual sales quota
- Develop trusted internal and customer relationships to create an outcome where everybody wins within your sales relationships
- Create new leads from prospecting efforts

**Your Qualifications**

Depending on the segment, the years of experience and skills needed to be successful will vary and we are looking for demonstrated background in quota-carrying sales and account management experience or experience in organizational change, learning, or education.
- Support direct reports by participating and leading client and prospect meetings. Engage other corporate resources as required
- Ongoing mentorship and development of a sales team which includes recruiting, hiring and training new Account Executives
- Conducting weekly forecast meetings. Coach direct reports regarding strategies to drive closure
- Report on sales activity and forecast to senior sales management
- Consistently monitor the sales activity of the team, and track the results
