**Overview**

**Duties**

Include but are not limited to:

- Attend ships and office tasks, often
- Continue training on new technologies
- Work collaboratively with the Sales/Project team to assess current projects
- Cultivate and deepen client relationships and partnerships that add value
- installing, maintaining, repairing, and diagnosing malfunctions of, telemetry, satellite and other radio communication systems (VHF, UHF, MF, HF)
- configuring and integrating networked navigation technology with computer software, hardware, desktops, and operating systems
- providing technical advice and information, and monitoring the performance of complex systems
- liaising with vendors, suppliers, service providers and external resources
- providing ongoing operational support in designing, optimizing, troubleshooting, diagnosing, repairing and resolving of telecommunications network performance malfunctions, defects and faults

**Essential Skills**

The following are desirable
- 4+ years’ experience in a technical role, preferrable within the marine subindustry
- Aware of the latest technology trends and shifts, as well as projections for the future
- Ability to up-sell and communicate with customers
- Evidence of ability to solve difficult technical problems, often under a deadline
- Exceptional communication and customer presentation skills
- Solid computer and report writing skills
- Able to work both alone and alongside a wider team

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $75,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year

**Education**:

- Diploma (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Field service: 4 years (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)
