Field Service Technician

We are seeking an experienced Field Service Technician to join our team at Superior People Recruitment. As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for the mechanical work involved in repair, maintenance, and servicing of turf maintenance related equipment within a nominated region.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Effectively manage field service priorities and schedules
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and resourced service fleet vehicle
  • Coordinate and perform various mechanical work involved in repair, maintenance, and servicing of turf maintenance related equipment
  • Establish and maintain relevant service-related information
  • Provide product service training to clients as required
  • Establish and maintain a customer base to ensure the continued financial growth of the service centre
  • Undertake regular internal product-based training to ensure OEM standards of service can be achieved
Requirements:
  • Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment
  • Experience in the maintenance and repair of mobile equipment, including hydraulic and electrical systems, diesel and petrol engines
  • Ability to use test and diagnostic equipment to determine the cause of mechanical or electrical problems
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to establish effective business relationships with internal and external customers
  • A valid Australian Motor Vehicle License
