**What you will thrive on in this role**
- Acting as 2IC for a large claims team in the absence of the National Manager
- Training and upskilling claims advisors, particularly in compliance and governance
- Undertaking audits and ensuring standards are being maintained
- Supporting the team, mentoring, and coaching where there are skills gaps.
- Revising the current claims manual
- Being 'the face' to manage insurers, discuss any issues, manage due diligence with new insurers, and carry out audits
- Ensuring complaints and disputes are managed correctly and follow due process
**What you will bring**:
- Ideally suited to claims professionals with solid experience (around ten years) in a range of GI products
- Leadership exposure, upskilling claims team members
- Experience in QA, and compliance, highly knowledgable regarding GICOP and insurance standards
- A versatile approach, with the ability to navigate around all areas of the business, legal, marketing, claims, compliance, management
- A professional, confident manner, with experience in managing external stakeholders and resolving any issues, and increasing business opportunities
- Strong reporting and analysing skills
- A true passion for working in a varied claims operations role
