**About the Role**:
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Health & Wellbeing, this is a pivotal role within the Health, Safety & Environment Team, based at our 990 La Trobe Street head office. As the Manager, Injury & Wellness you will be responsible for:

- Overseeing compliance and reporting for the Self-Insurance license, including managing audits such as SISAP and EDT returns.
- Oversee injury management, claims management and management of non-work related injuries
- Providing compassionate support and guidance to employees throughout their rehabilitation process, ensuring their wellbeing and successful return to work.
- Managing injury cases with empathy and care, encompassing both work-related and non-work-related incidents, and facilitating seamless return-to-work processes.
- Collaborating with stakeholders to develop and implement effective Rehabilitation and Return to Work strategies tailored to individual employee needs.
- Identifying opportunities for early intervention and proactive support to prevent injuries and promote employee wellbeing.
- Continuously evaluating and improving our Rehabilitation and Return to Work programs to ensure they meet the evolving needs of our workforce.

**About you**:

- WorkCover experience with an understanding of the Self-Insurance Scheme
- Demonstrated experience in Rehabilitation and Return to Work processes, with a strong focus on employee support and success.
- Empathetic and compassionate approach to case management, with the ability to build trust and rapport with employees.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels.
- Proactive mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement and innovation in employee wellbeing initiatives.
- Possession of a valid driver's license.
- Willingness to complete a Criminal Records Check.
