**About the role**:
We are looking for an experienced Sales Operations Coordinator to join our Retail Markets team in this full -time permanent role. You will assist the sales team in the delivery of sales goals and targets. This will be achieved by supporting the Sales Operations Manager, focused on the operational and sales processes that include quality and compliance, reporting, proactive channel partner engagement, product and pricing events and UAT & PDT activities around sales owned tools within the Alinta Energy business.

**Duties**:

- Day-to-day administrative support of the sales team.
- Support the optimization of channel partner performance through analysis to uncover improvement opportunities designed to boost sales volumes and quality in conjunction with channel managers.
- Build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure top quality sales support.
- Assisting in the ongoing development and delivery in a wide range of projects for the business.
- Ability to develop reports and testing using Power BI

**Skills and experience**:

- Experience with CRM software, strong with MS Office and have the ability to pick up new programs quickly.
- Excellent time management skills, understanding how to prioritise key tasks and an ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present ideas and information to key stakeholders.
- Experience working in a sales environment where understanding of sales operations process and the steps necessary to drive sales results is required
- Prior exposure to the energy sector would be highly regarded, but not essential.
