We are looking for a **Transport Company Manager **to join our team
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Receiving orders and bookings and planning and implementing transportation schedules.
- Ensuring goods are stored and transported in conditions that will maintain their quality.
- Develop and execute transportation strategies and plans to enhance the movement of goods and materials.
- Coordinate and oversee daily transportation activities to ensure prompt and cost-effective delivery of goods and services.
- Analyze and monitor transportation operations, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes.
- Supervise the selection, negotiation, and management of transportation service providers and suppliers.
- Manage a team of transportation staff, providing guidance, training, and conducting performance evaluations.
- Ensure compliance with relevant transportation regulations and industry standards.
- Collaborate with internal departments to coordinate transportation requirements and meet customer demands.
- Monitor transportation budgets, control costs, and identify opportunities for cost savings.
**Qualifications and Skills**:
- At least 3 years’ relevant experience as a **Transport Company Manager.**:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Problem-solving abilities and a results-oriented approach.
- Leadership skills, with the ability to build and lead high-performing teams.
**Job Type**: Full-time
**Salary Offered**:$70,000 per annum + Superannuation.
