**About the Role**

The Coordinator Probity & Approvals will manage and direct a specialised team responsible for conducting integrity investigations and handling various requests for regulatory approvals across a wide spectrum of regulated entities and individuals. The Gaming & Wagering team principally deals with gaming and betting operators as well as Betting Service Providers. The primary aim is to fulfill the regulatory goals of the Hospitality & Racing sector.

Working closely with and reporting to the Manager Probity & Approvals you will be responsible for:

- Leading integrity investigations and regulatory approvals to meet the goals of Hospitality & Racing, ensuring continuous monitoring for effectiveness.
- Ensuring all documentation, including reports and submissions, are accurate and comprehensive.
- Offering guidance and assistance in shaping policies and strategies to uphold regulatory standards and improve practices continuously.
- Engaging with meaningful discussions with stakeholders to achieve regulatory goals, manage concerns and enhance team capabilities.
- Identifying areas for improvement in policies and operations by researching and monitoring probity investigation and approval practices locally and internationally and propose solutions.

**What we are looking for**:

- Experience leading and coordinating probity investigations, or similar, and regulatory approvals, including evaluating complex information to make a recommendation.
- Strong problem-solving skills to effectively address a diverse range of issues and activities, especially within the sensitive nature of the work, while managing potentially conflicting priorities.
- Proficiency in stakeholder management to maintain relationships with various internal and external stakeholders, balancing their diverse expectations and needs, and leveraging limited resources effectively.
- Demonstrated experience working in a leadership role, delivering specialist and authoritative advice to Line Managers.

**Essential requirements**
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline or demonstrated equivalent relevant professional experience.
