Tier 1 permanent opportunity for an experienced Environmental Approvals Advisor.

An exciting opportunity for an Environmental Approvals Advisor, with a Tier 1 in NSW. In this role, you will work closely with the Environmental Approvals Manager.

**Your new role**
As the Environmental Approvals Advisor, you will assist in the coordination for meeting the objectives in the Construction Environmental Management Plan (CEMP) for the project and ensuring compliance with relevant environmental legislation, regulations, contractual obligations and gaining the relevant environmental approvals for works.

Other duties will include:

- Assist to develop and manage the approval and update of the project CEMP and Sub-Plans, and other regulatory approvals or licences required to facilitate construction works e.g., Environmental Protection Licence (NSW EPA).
- Collaborate with HSEQ, Risk and Assurance teams to ensure that major environmental risks related to approvals and licences are captured and appropriate and effective mitigation strategies are developed.

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Tertiary qualification in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Planning, or a related discipline.
- 2-5 years’ experience in Operational Environment or Approvals Management, preferably in large infrastructure projects, particularly roads, rail, or tunnels.
- Strong knowledge of Commonwealth and state environmental legislation, framework, and regulatory approvals systems.
