Working in partnership with the NSW Government, the Parklife Metro consortium is working on an exciting new metro rail infrastructure project in Greater Western Sydney.

**The Opportunity**:
The Approvals Manager will manage the approvals interface with Western Sydney Airport. This will involve managing a small team of Coordinators who are assembling and building up BAN submission packages to submit to the Airport Building Controller. The Approvals Manager will need to establish and manage internal and external relationships across Construction, Environment, Design, Sydney Metro and the WSA Parties to enable approvals to be obtained in accordance with our program. The Approvals Manager’s role is a critical component of the process for PLM D&C to gain access for construction to worksites in the Airport Precinct.

**Responsibilities**:

- Project management and participation in technical studies.
- Assisting with internal and external approvals
- Assisting with the project’s budgeting process.
- Maintenance and implementation of relevant regulatory plans.
- Ensuring general administrative tasks are completed in timely manner with communication being made to relevant personnel within the business. This can include but is not limited to; general reporting, monthly reporting, submitting up to date documentation.
- Effective engagement with internal and external stakeholders.

**Criteria**:

- Tertiary qualification in engineering, environmental science or town planning or similar.
- A minimum of eight to ten years’ experience preferably working on infrastructure projects
