We have multiple positions available for an Assistant Practice Manager (APS5) to join their Mt Gravatt or Ipswich locations.

This division is responsible for the provision of mental health and well-being services specifically designed for current and former ADF personnel and their families. Their support teams offer a range of confidential counselling, group programs, and crisis support services **.**

**About the Role**
The Assistant Practice Manager provides support to the Regional Clinical Practice Manager in corporate functions including human resource, property and finance management, quality improvement and assurance activities and support team functions. The Assistant Practice Manager will review and implement processes in alignment with the national standard operating procedures.
- Coordinate the region’s support team in the delivery of a professional, efficient and welcoming reception service
- Assist the PM in managing the human resource requirements across the region including recruitment, on-boarding, induction and off-boarding activities
- Monitor quality of work and conduct quality assurance activities for the support team
- Line manage administration support team members, including performance management feedback and identification of training needs
- Assist the PM in the management of corporate functions including property, security, operational resource requirements, travel and finance across the region

To be successful in this position, you must demonstrate:

- The ability to obtain working with vulnerable people clearance as well as a clear Criminal History Check
- Previous experience meeting objectives, focussing on achieving deadlines and responding to pressure in a calm manner even in the most difficult circumstances
- Ability to identifying relevant stakeholders’ expectations and concern, and discuss issues credibly and thoughtfully. The ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner, using appropriate, unambiguous language tailored to your audience is essential

Highly Desirable Skills and Experience
- Certificate IV equivalent qualification in office, practice and/or business management or similar field
- Previous experience within Local, State or Government
