Job Title: Practice Manager

We are seeking a highly organized and professional Practice Manager to join our team at Litton Andrews Pty. As a Practice Manager, you will play a key role in the day-to-day operations of our medical practice, ensuring the smooth running of patient clinics and providing exceptional patient service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Patient Enquiries: Handle patient enquiries, including face-to-face and over-the-phone communication, to provide a high level of patient satisfaction.
  • Appointment Coordination: Coordinate patient appointments and ensure the smooth running of patient clinics.
  • Administrative Support: Assist the support team with the preparation of surgery quotations, consent forms, surgery bookings, and patient billing/receipting for both consultations and surgical procedures.
  • New Patient Referrals: Manage all new patient referrals in a timely manner and in conjunction with the front desk.
  • Human Resource Management: Manage a small team of administrative staff, including rostering of staff, leave requirements, performance reviews, and performance management plans.
  • Operational Duties: Perform operational duties across the clinic, including PA/EA support to the Principal Surgeon and the coordination of the practice, including developing, implementing, and utilizing systems that support effective delivery.
  • Facilities Management: Liaise with suppliers and ensure the practice has adequate equipment and supplies at all times.
  • Practice Policies: Maintain practice policies and procedures.
  • Basic Bookkeeping: Perform basic bookkeeping in conjunction with the Practice Accountant.
  • Work Flows: Coordinate day-to-day work flows.
Requirements:
  • Experience: At least 4 years of experience working in a similar role, preferably for a surgical specialist practice.
  • Software Skills: Experience using Genie software, Eclipse, and Medical Objects, and confident operating from a PC platform.
  • Commercial and Business Acumen: Strong commercial and business acumen.
  • Leadership: Demonstrated experience of people and business leadership.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Time Management: Ability to meet deadlines and deliver solutions in a timely manner.
Remuneration:

A competitive hourly rate up to $45 p/hour + superannuation will be offered to the right candidate. A car park will also be provided.
