**The opportunity**:
The National Allergy Centre of Excellence (NACE) collaborates with hospitals and academic institutes across Australia, focusing on insect, drug, food, and respiratory allergies. Under Pillar 2, in partnership with Queensland University of Technology, NACE is developing the National Allergy BioRepository (NAB). The NAB aims to securely store clinically-derived data, patient information, and biospecimens from approved research sources. It will establish a robust scientific access system for researchers, enabling secure access to data for primary and secondary research. Additionally, the NAB seeks to integrate with other health data sets, such as those from Services Australia and Ambulance Victoria.

Join us at the forefront of allergy research As a Consultant with the National Allergy BioRepository (NAB) project, your expertise will drive the ethical, legal, and regulatory foundations of our ground-breaking initiative. Be a key player in crafting the protocols that will propel allergy research to new heights.

**Responsibilities**:
**Conduct Review**:
Thoroughly examine ethics, governance, privacy, legal, and regulatory contexts.
Compile a comprehensive and comparative summary report highlighting key considerations.

**Draft Protocol and ERM Ethics Application**:
Provide support for stakeholder review, incorporating feedback for continuous improvement.
Ensure alignment with ethical standards, legal requirements, and regulatory frameworks.

**Finalisation Deadlines**:
**Key Deliverable 1**: Complete the comprehensive review and summary report by the latest January 10, 2024.

This role will be engaged as a consultant and therefore it is vital you possess your own Australian Business Number (ABN). If you are a dynamic consultant passionate about advancing allergy research and meet the requirements, we want to hear from you
