**Parent Group Facilitator**

**Permanent Part Time Position - 22.8 Hours per week**

**Location: Morwell, Moe, Traralgon & Churchill**

**Salary Range - $38.55 - $44.32 per hour plus 11% Superannuation**

**The Role**

The Parent Group Facilitator will:

- Lead and Facilitate engaging sessions for New Parents, fostering a supportive environment for sharing experiences, knowledge and resources.
- Coordinate and oversee New Parent Groups throughout the municipality, promoting inclusive and networking opportunities for families transitioning into parenthood
- Provide guidance and access to relevant resources, workshops, and support services, empowering new parents with essential tools and information for navigating early parenthood.

**About you**

You will have excellent interpersonal skills, with a non-judgmental approach, and the ability to communicate with families, groups, other employees, and other service providers.

**You'll need**:

- A Diploma or above qualification in Children's Services, Early Childhood Development, Social Work, Psychology, Community Services, or relevant field.
- Experience in working with families, including group and individual parenting interventions.
- Current Driver's License and Working with Children Check.
- Proficient computer skills.
