The team operates in a hybrid working environment with a combination of work from home and working from a Transport hub. **The Division**
Transport’s Regional and Outer Metropolitan division’s purpose is to make regional and outer metropolitan NSW a better place to live, work and visit. Our division is made up of over 4,400 people in over 270 locations across NSW. We operate transport services and maintain our regional networks to help our regional communities and visitors stay safe and connected.
**The Opportunity**
Right now, we have a permanent role available for a Customer Program Communications Partner to join our team within the Regional and Outer Metropolitan Division.
The role is part of the Customer Coordination & Service Delivery branch and partners with key portfolios within Regional and Outer Metropolitan and the Chief Customer Office including NSW TrainLink and Transport Partnerships to provide strategic communications and engagement activities and advice, develop content, deliver campaigns and communication channels and support the delivery of customer programs and projects.
Key accountabilities include and not limited to:
- Provide expert level communications advice to customer groups, while undertaking a full range of communications activities to support programs and initiatives as required.
- Provide input into change impact assessments of assigned programs and develop relevant communication strategies to address these impacts.
- Develop, manage and monitor communications strategies to support programs and projects. Identify project milestones and respond to any gaps in project deliverables through ongoing monitoring and evaluation.
- Contribute to the success of the business through the coordination of accessible, timely and trusted channels of customer and operational communication.
- Develop and prepare content for internal and external channels, ensuring content is engaging and strategically aligned with stakeholder needs and expectations.
- Develop and maintain relationships to enhance the image of the business and deliver opportunities to build employee understanding and engagement in programs and projects
- Manage the scoping, development and coordination and reporting of projects, activities and deliverables in accordance with cost, time and resource constraints.
- Develop reputation risk registers, establish controls and monitor the mitigation activities to proactively identify and manage risks.

You will possess high level verbal and written communication skills and proven experience in developing and delivering communication plans for diverse audiences. You will have practical knowledge and understanding of key communication principles and current trends. You are experienced in the use of traditional and digital channels.
