The Opportunity

Samsung Australia is currently hiring for the Head of Consumer Electronics (CE) Retail Management. This is a critical role in leading and directing the CE State Managers, Merchandisers and Brand Ambassadors to bring the sales and retail strategy to life in store, while developing advocacy and brand preference within Consumer Electronics (CE) retailers.

**Role and Responsibilities**

The primary objective of the Head of Consumer Electronics (CE) Retail Management is to coordinate sales activities through the promotion of Samsung products and to drive team behaviours for the purpose of achieving the CE budget. Further responsibilities include (but not limited to):

- Develop the respective states customers and business, providing assistance to dealers through planning sales levels in line with Samsung Australia’s management plan
- Responsible for the delivery of the CE sales target nationally
- Point of escalation for all field related matters both internally and externally
- Management and store understanding for all VIP visits, event support or training nights when required
- Build strong relationships at senior store levels and with steering committee and influential members and at Head Office
- Be the second point of escalation (after State Manager) for all customer complaints and product returns when not handled in line with consumer expectations.
- Ensure activity records, audit checks and report on all phases of sales and competitor activity are communicated and circulated the internal Samsung team in accordance to management requirements and company procedures

**Skills and Qualifications**

Being experienced in leading a field sales team is a must. You should also have the positive "can do" attitude, accompanied with the following skills / experience:

- Being highly experienced leading a field sales team is required
- Consultative and influential selling style with an ability to sell technical products
- High level of business and commercial acumen
- A strong leader of people, with the ability to coach, mentor and efficiently delegate.
- Proven & successful experience at developing relationships
- Passion for technology
