They are currently seeking a **Service Coordinator** to join their dynamic team based in their new office in **Gregory Hills** working Monday to Friday.

**About the Role and your Responsibilities**:
Your role as the Service Coordinator is to support the Care Coordinator in supervising a team of support workers and coordinating the care of clients. You will provide support to the Care Coordinator and the team to assist in the coordination of support. This role is a pathway to becoming a Care Coordinator. Some of your responsibilities will include:

- Focus on identifying and meeting client needs proactively.
- Extensive collaboration with clients and stakeholders.
- Coordinate various services to ensure clients' well-being.
- Participation in allied health meetings.
- Ensure completeness and currency of client agreements.
- Promote cultural competency for appropriate service delivery.
- Maintain confidentiality while delivering prompt and solution-oriented service.
- Collaborate with various stakeholders, including coordinators and support workers.
- Adhere to regulatory requirements for NDIS services.

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- Certificate III in Disability or other relevant qualification
- Prior experience as a care or support coordinator in the NDIS or Home Care Packages Program is desirable, but not essential
- Knowledge of the NDIS Operational Guidelines and NDIS Quality Standards
- Demonstrated understanding of the needs of people living in the community
- Proven customer service, administrative and organisational skills
- Computer literate and have the ability to learn new programs quickly
- Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills
- Conflict resolution skills and the ability to handle challenging situations in a professional and sensitive manner
- Ability to work in a very busy environment and to work both independently and as a part of a team
- NDIS worker’s check
- Rights to work in Australia
