Employee Relations Specialist Opportunity with a Global Leader in Live Entertainment
- Initial 12-to-18-month contract with potential to extend
- Position is 2 days per week

**Overview**

As the Employee Relations Specialist, you will partner with a TEG exclusive event, providing specialized guidance on a diverse range of employee relations matters arising from the event. Within this position, you will take charge of overseeing end-to-end case management of high-risk and complex cases, including conducting Investigations as necessary. Drawing upon your extensive experience, you will deliver tailored advice and direction to leaders, ensuring the resolution of matters aligns seamlessly with TEG’s objectives, while maintaining efficiency and professionalism.

**The Role**
- Provide advice and support on ER topics including: misconduct, performance management, injury management, policy interpretation, conflict resolution, workplace training and more
- Conduct confidential workplace investigations relating to team member grievances and disciplinary matters including grievances of harassment and discrimination.
- Maintain accurate and organised records of employee relations cases, investigations, advice and outcomes
- Ability to manage highly confidential information and personal matters in a professional manner
- Assist in the monitoring of compliance and ensure compliance with relevant industrial relations legislation and Fair Work Principles are in line with expectations of the business
- Champion and drive culture initiatives to make TEG an even better place to work
- Review and update workplace policies and prodcedures as required

**Essential Skills, Knowledge and Experience**
- 18 months + in an Advisor role
- Human Resources or related Business Degree is highly regarded
- Strong stakeholder management and the ability to provide HR advisory support to them
- Strong understanding of employment laws, regulations, and best practices and the ability to research and interpret complex industrial instruments
- Demonstrated experience in dealing with complex Employment Relations matters
- Effective problem-solving, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Experience in high volume end to end casework
- Availability for on-call duty, particularly during Wednesdays to Fridays, is essential for this role.
