**The role**:
The Head of Security, Compliance, Regulatory & Contractual Obligations is accountable for NAB’s compliance to all security obligations, regulatory and compliance requirements (global and national), internal and external audit commitments, as well as contractual obligations to customers and partners.

**Responsibilities**:

- Ensure NAB is compliant to all existing applicable security related obligations, regulatory, contractual, and compliance requirements, global and national, in a way that is sustainable. For example, CPS234 and DOHA/SOCI Act.
- Sponsor/lead (including business case development) initiatives to ensure NAB’s timely response and ongoing sustainable compliance to new legislative and regulatory requirements and standards (for example CPS230). Ensure sustainable transition of these initiative to BAU.
- Influence favourable outcomes for NAB regarding potential future security legislations, requirements and regulations from Government and regulators.
- Primary and central point of engagement into Group Security for all security compliance and regulatory related information requests and status reporting.
- Primary and central point of engagement and response to security compliance and regulatory engagements and external audits, including but not limited to Line 2 Risk, Internal Audit, External Audit, APRA, DOHA, international regulatory bodies. Responsible for coordinating required response across all Group Security teams and partners, where required.
- Act as Obligations Manager for Group Security globally eg accountable for management and reporting of Material Control Weaknesses;
- Drive ongoing uplift in maturity in how security risk measurement, reduction and tracking/reporting is done at NAB;
- Drive and enhance security risk awareness and culture across the Enterprise.
- You will keenly stay updated on emerging threats, trends/changes regulatory requirements and solutions, as well as in security risk management methods and tools (nationally and globally) and proactively bring these to live to reduce security risk at NAB while improving your team’s and NAB’s ways of working.
- Build, continuously grow and inspire a high performing global team of security professionals. Set strategic direction and prioritise security risk reduction efforts based on organizational goals and security risk priorities.

**What you'll bring**:

- 10+ years’ experience in security leadership or complimentary discipline
- Proven track record of working with business stakeholders and complex business issues.
- Experience in integrating complex processes and security solutions.
- Experience implementing similar functions in large, complex, regulated organisation.
- Strong business engagement and development experience, with significant stakeholder relationship management
- Track record experience operating and delivering consistent results in a large complex business.
- Proven experience influencing senior leaders across strategic & operational outcomes.
