About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Compliance to join our team at Worldline. As a key member of our Second Line of Defense, you will be responsible for ensuring that our Australian entities are fully compliant with all legal and regulatory obligations.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in compliance, risk management, and regulatory affairs, with a proven track record of leading compliance teams and implementing effective compliance programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the Australia Compliance function and align with the broader Worldline Group Compliance functions
  • Develop, implement, and monitor compliance policies and procedures to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and industry standards
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in regulations and industry standards, and ensure that the organization is prepared to meet new compliance requirements
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and compliance audits to identify potential areas of non-compliance and develop strategies to address and mitigate risks
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to provide guidance on compliance-related matters and support business initiatives while ensuring compliance requirements are met
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for regulatory inquiries and audits and work to maintain positive relationships with regulatory authorities
  • Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on compliance performance, areas of improvement, and emerging risks
Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in a senior compliance role
  • 5+ years of experience in an AFSL licensed organization
  • 5+ years of experience in leadership and team management
  • 5+ years of experience in AML/CTF
  • Proven experience leading or being a key contributor in an AFSL application
  • Experience working in matrix organizations
