**Functions and Events Coordinator**

**About Us**

City Winery Brisbane is a working micro-winery located in the heart of Fortitude Valley that offers a bespoke and boutique experience to our guests. Our venues include both City Winery (Wandoo St and Edward St) and Ardo’s Wine Bars. Our breathtaking, unique and individual venues provide a great opportunity for our guests to host a range of private, corporate and wedding events throughout the year.

**The Role**

We are currently seeking an extraordinary Functions and Events Coordinator to join our vibrant team and to continue to offer memorable events and functions to our clients. The key focus will be making sure our clients have the perfect function and wedding experience so your passion, attention to detail and customer service is vital.

**Role Type**: Perm Part-Time 24 hours per week

**A little of what you will be doing**:

- Create memorable experiences that reflect the City Winery brand;
- Liaise with other areas of the business (FOH, kitchen, etc) to ensure clients receive the best possible experience during their event;
- Assist with “hands on” setting up of functions - from moving chairs and tables to event styling;
- Supervise onsite functions and events;
- Communicate regularly with Functions and Events Manager, General Manager and Venue Managers to ensure all functions and events run smoothly;
- Distribute event details to relevant internal departments;
- Work as part of a dedicated and hardworking team across our venues;
**About You**:

- A pure love for everything related to Functions and Weddings;
- 2+ years Experience specializing in Corporate / Social Functions and Weddings;
- 2+ years experience in Hospitality highly regarded;
- Availability on weekends is a must;
- Excellent writing skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office 365;
- Exceptional communication and customer service skills;
- Demonstrated professionalism and approachability in all dealings with clients and suppliers;
- Highly organised and motivated with excellent time management skills;
- Immaculate personal presentation;
- Experience in utilising online bookings and BEO software, experience with Ivvy highly advantages.

**The following are required to be eligible for the role**:

- RSA (Or ability to gain prior to employment)
- Australian Drivers Licence
- Rights to work in Australia
