- NSW Department of Education has an exciting opportunity for a skilled and experienced individual to join the Operations Directorate as an Administration Coordinator._

**About the role**
- Oversee and coordinate the delivery of administrative and support services to ensure the business needs of the team/unit are met.
- Develop, implement, review, and update administrative systems, processes, and policies to ensure compliance with agency standards, policies and procedures.
- Manage and coordinate the collection and collation of information, prepare reports on business unit performance, and make recommendations to improve efficiency and service delivery.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate information exchange and support effective decision making and continuous improvement across administrative and project activities.
- Manage and coordinate the unit’s records and databases, complying with administrative systems, processes, and policies, to ensure that all information is accurate, stored correctly and accessible.

School Infrastructure NSW (SINSW) is delivering new school buildings, major upgrades, and maintenance strategies to ensure every school-aged child has access to high quality education facilities at their local public school.

The Construction & Building Quality Assurance Team ensures that all school facilities are built to the highest standards, meet all legislative requirements, and comply to the Educational Facilities Standards & Guidelines (EFSG).
You will be coordinating and supporting this team to provide the best educational outcomes for students and staff at our schools.

- Knowledge and experience in construction
- Excellent communication skills
- Demonstrated strong time management skills by meeting deadlines.

- Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department’s Aboriginal Education Policy and upholding the Department’s Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people.

**Essential requirements of the role**
- Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or equivalent experience in coordinating administrative services and support.
- Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the value of public education.
