Legal Aid NSW helps people with their legal problems. We can help people with most areas of criminal law, family law and every day civil law legal issues. We give legal advice, help at court and do family dispute resolution. We can do this over the telephone or at one of our 28 offices.

**About the role**

Legal Aid NSW is on a Digital Transformation journey that includes the ongoing digitisation of our business processes, enabled by productivity tools like M365, public and private cloud hosted business system platforms and late model Windows 10, 4G connected laptop computers for the majority of our people.

This **Full-Time 1-Year fixed term opportunity** will play a leading role in influencing and championing the need and benefits of a consistent level of digital literacy across Legal Aid by assessing Information Communications and Technology (ICT) training needs, developing, and leading training programs to meet agreed ICT capability targets across the agency and building an accessible and targeted online self-help repository.

Our Head Office is located in the Sydney CBD with the other 27 offices located throughout Sydney Metro and Regional NSW.

Training will involve a combination of face to face, in room and via MS-Teams.

**About you**

You will have strong communication and negotiation skills to champion and motivate staff to meet baseline digital literacy levels. You will be leading and maintaining a defined digital literacy and capabilities baseline across Legal Aid NSW. You will use your solid stakeholder management skills to engage and influence key partners to sponsor and support digital literacy and capability building across the whole organisation.

We may use this recruitment to create a talent pool for similar ongoing or temporary vacancies we have over the next 18 months.

**The essential requirements for this role**

You must:

- be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 before you start work with us
- be willing to do a Criminal Record Check and
- hold Australian or NZ citizenship, Australian Permanent Residency (for ongoing vacancies) or a valid visa to work in Australia (for temporary vacancies)
- have qualifications in KCS Trainer or Cert IV TAFE or equivalent
- have ability to influence and build trusting relationships at all levels.

You need to have the following the key knowledge and experience to succeed in this role:

- Training experience in workplace productivity technologies including Microsoft M365 (Teams, OneDrive, OneNote), Webex, Zoom, Foxit Pro PDF editor.
- Experience in assessing and baselining needs and developing relevant training programs.
- Experience in designing and delivering various delivery modes: in room group training, face to face,
- Experience in delivering bespoke business systems training, especially case management.
- Relevant experience using online authoring tools to develop online learning videos.
- Business Analysis and Project Coordination experience.
