We are seeking a skilled and motivated ICT Technician.

Key Responsibilities:

- **Technical Support**:

- Provide efficient and effective technical support to end-users, addressing hardware and software issues promptly.
- Diagnose and resolve ICT-related problems, escalating more complex issues when necessary.
- Offer assistance through various channels, including in-person, remote support, and phone.
- **Hardware and Software Maintenance**:

- Conduct regular updates and patches to ensure the security and functionality of systems.
- Perform routine system maintenance and monitor the performance of ICT equipment.
- **Network Management**:

- Assist in the setup and maintenance of local area networks (LANs) and wide area networks (WANs).
- Troubleshoot network issues and collaborate with network administrators to ensure seamless connectivity.
- **User Training**:

- Conduct training sessions to educate end-users on basic ICT procedures and best practices.
- Create and update documentation for common issues and resolutions.
- **Security and Data Protection**:

- Implement and enforce security measures to safeguard against unauthorized access and data breaches.
- Collaborate with the IT security team to stay updated on the latest security threats and implement necessary measures.
- **Procurement and Inventory Management**:

- Assist in the procurement of ICT equipment and software.
- Maintain an accurate inventory of hardware and software assets.
- **Collaboration and Communication**:

- Collaborate with other IT professionals to develop and implement ICT solutions.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to understand their technology needs and provide appropriate solutions.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Diploma or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- Proven experience as an ICT Technician or in a similar role.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with networking concepts and protocols.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional) would be an advantage.

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: $55,487.85 - $75,000.00 per year
