**About this role**
As part of a dynamic and results-driven team, you will play a pivotal role in guiding effective communications across the NSW Health system.

The Manager Accessible Communications is responsible for driving high levels of staff awareness and engagement in delivering communications in accessible formats for ease of whole of population understanding. This includes development of policy and guidelines to support wholesale adoption of accessible communication tools and techniques, developing accessible communication guides and toolkits and promoting them across NSW Health.

You will be a senior communications manager with strong planning, project management and writing skills with extensive experience in communication and stakeholder engagement as well as working with digital and design teams to deliver contemporary and high-quality communication and outcomes.

The role leads and manages a small team responsible for overseeing delivery and reporting on accessible communication delivery. The role is also the lead for the development and delivery of contractors commissioned to deliver accessible communication tools and services.

**What you'll be doing**

We are seeking motivated and committed manager with strong leadership skills with experience establishing, launching and implementing best practice communication policies and guidelines.

Key accountabilities include:

- Deliver and manage high-level and high quality accessible communications policies, guidelines and services
- Collaborate with key internal stakeholders and external service suppliers to develop engagement frameworks and strategies
- Develop, deliver and evaluate accessible communications policy, guidelines and services that support CALD
- Ensure the timely and accurate delivery of accessible communication projects, initiatives and policies
- Support delivery of accessible communication content
