**About the Role**
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced **Food & Beverage Duty Manager** to join our Sydney Showground Team This is an initial 6 month contract, with possibility of extension. This role is responsible for managing all food & beverage requirements and resources for our diverse range of events. This includes managing up to 25 supervisors responsible for up to 300 staff.
This role would suit someone who has a experience and passion for events and customer service, thrives under pressure and thinks dynamically on their feet. Not only will you be responsible for the administration pre & post the event, including resource allocation but you will be hands on during the event to deliver the highest standard of service to clients and their guests.

You will be a hospitality superstar who prides themselves on exemplary leadership, and logístical operations, but creative enough to think outside the box.
You will also have:
- Resilience and ability to adapt quickly and innovatively to the dynamics of large scale events
- Stamina to walk around a large site
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to liaise with multiple stakeholders
- A positive ‘can do’ attitude who takes pride in doing an excellent job
- Intermediate skills in event management systems
- Current RSA certificate - essential
- Current NSW drivers license - essential
