The role
Reporting to the Manager (Strategy), PMO you will lead and support planning and coordination activities for the reform agenda to enable a collective and partnered approach to ensure that key outcomes are achieved. You will develop and or contribute to the preparation of timely and well researched strategic advice to senior management in the Reform Office Queensland Health and to the Minister for Health in relation to Queensland Health's position at a whole-of-government level.

Furthermore, you will undertake health system research and critical analysis of qualitative and quantitative data and information to identify future reform priorities and issues for Queensland Health, to inform the efficient use of resources to create a sustainable health system, influence health service delivery and reform, and maximise the health gain for the Queensland population.

The successful person
To be successful in this role you will have a comprehensive understanding and breadth of experience in managing portfolios, programs, and projects, undertake research, interpret trends, and provide detailed interpretation and analysis of reports, discussion papers and other documentation and to provide advice on policies, strategies, and actions. You will also have demonstrated conceptual, analytical, and innovative problem-solving skills and the ability to develop and implement flexible and responsive solutions to address issues.

In addition to this, you will have the proven ability to communicate with influence, interpersonal, negotiation and stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to cultivate productive working relationships and networks.
