This role will:

  • Provide expert portfolio level advice and support to the DSITC leadership team, executive management, planning and project teams, and other key stakeholders
  • Support DSITC planning and delivery by tracking and reporting project and program progress, status, benefits and risk
  • Lead improvements to the digital and IT portfolio management function through the implementation of best practice and governance, the coaching and engagement of project teams, and the provision of data driven processes and reports
  • Support portfolio delivery activities such as management control, benefits management, financial management, risk management, stakeholder engagement, organisational governance and resource management.
  • Prepare submissions, reports, briefing material, correspondence and communications for department and government communities, stakeholders and committees.
  • Coordinate or provide accurate responses to Queensland Government Enterprise Architecture artefacts such as the QCS ICT work plan, Digital Projects Dashboard, Assurance Gate Reports and Investment Reviews
  • Provide peer reviews of Portfolio, Program and Project (P3O) artefacts including business cases, investment logic plans, project plans, benefits and reports
  • Perform and/or procure project assurance in accordance with Queensland Government policy
  • Work with other Queensland Government and QCS groups such as the QCS Enterprise Program Management Office, to implement best practice P3O principles, methodologies, tools and techniques
