**Your new role**
Reporting to the CFO, the position of Payroll Specialist is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end payroll processes. This position is ideal for someone who is hands on and able to get into the detail, with the view to use their extensive experience in payroll to grow and develop alongside the growing business. This would be a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to progress into a management role in the near future. In your new position you will be responsible for the following:

- Managing and overseeing the weekly and monthly end to end payroll process in conjunction with the external payroll service provider
- Ensuring due diligence and compliance with relevant legislation, Awards and payroll-related processes and procedures
- Actioning payroll changes in the system and system upgrades
- Weekly, monthly, and annual reporting as required (GL, Tax, variance reports, reconciliations)
- Providing a high level of customer service to all employees
- Completing a quarterly review of payroll vs Awards to ensure compliance
- Ensuring the integrity of payroll data in the Time & Attendance and Payroll systems
- Maintaining up to date knowledge of payroll-related legislation
- Ad hoc tasks and projects, as required.

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Ability to interpret Awards and legislation
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Experience with Employment Innovations (highly desirable)
- Experience processing end to end payroll in different industries and environments
- Problem solving and inquisitive mind
- Strong stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills
