Central Coast Council is the third largest water utility (or water and sewage service) in NSW servicing 139,000 homes and businesses in a growing region.

As a Systems Controller, you will be prioritising and triaging work orders for the dispatch of work crews out to water and sewer works, and proactively controlling system operations for all equipment in use and on stand by for water and sewer operations.

You will be responsible for monitoring system availability, configuration and performance of the water and sewer systems in real time, and on hand to provide technical expertise and advice to field staff as required.

Shifts involve day and night shifts to cover a 24/7 roster, Monday to Sunday.

This position is required to provide quality customer service and create value for the community.

**Key activities of this role include**:

- Monitoring the water and sewer system availability, configuration & performance in real time from the control centre;
- Escalating incidents to the appropriate stakeholders through system notifications and the dispatch team;
- Identifying irregularities or inefficiencies in system operation and initiating further investigation and rectification works.

This role provides a commencing salary range of between $79.3k to $110.2k per annum dependent on skills and experience (inclusive of Market Loading) + 10.5% superannuation.
- **_As this position involves shift work, it is anticipated that the actual salary could be up to 20% in addition to the base salary quoted, dependent on shifts worked (excluding any overtime)._**

**_ An additional week of Annual Leave is offered each year due to the shift work._**
