**About the role**:
This opportunity will see you assist in the administration, maintenance and continual improvement of controlled documents (policies and procedures) to ensure ongoing compliance with Unitywater’s Policy and Procedure Framework and Integrated Management System

Key responsibilities will include:

- Administer the review, approval, and version control for controlled documents (e.g. policies and procedures) to ensure the currency, compliance and timely access for team members and stakeholders (as per the Policy and Procedure Framework).
- Perform quality reviews (e.g. style format, grammar, spelling etc) for controlled documents as part of document control publishing activities.
- Raise quality issues with relevant document owners where guidance or additional review is required.
- Validate version control with system metadata and end user access points (e.g. document library, website).
- Monitor and respond to internal customer enquiries (e.g. workflow requests, system support, adhoc reporting, Visio flowchart updates) received in the shared inbox. Escalating complex requests to the Policy & Documents Advisor for investigation and/or guidance (where required).
- Provide administration support to the Policy & Documents Advisor to assist with delivering Policy and Procedure Framework initiatives (where required).
- Identify and implement opportunities for improvement with the support of the Policy & Documents Advisor.

**About you**:

- One to two years’ experience maintaining a document management system (or similar system) that uses automated workflows.
- Understanding of a controlled document’s lifecycle and how a Policy and Procedure Framework supports an Integrated Management System.
- Ability to identify and investigate system exceptions
- Ability to prioritise assigned tasks, monitor workflows and internal adhoc requests.
- Demonstrated experience with document control and process management tools, systems and methods (e.g. Microsoft Office suite, Adobe Pro, SharePoint, Objective).
- Strong attention to detail, ideally with proof reading experience (format and content).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with a focus on delivering a high level of customer service.
