**Your new role**

Reporting to the People & Business Manager, the Document Controller will be responsible for the implementation and management of the Project Document Control and Management Procedure and the implementation of the Project Electronic Document Management System (Aconex). This role will be a part-time position with the potential for the role to convert to a full-time position as the Project’s execution activities increase.

Key responsibilities:

- Ensuring that both hard copy and electronic documents are received, reviewed, routed and filed.
- Maintenance of the Project’s Electronic Document Management System (EDMS), including generating document numbers, creating placeholders, and developing distribution lists.
- Developing and issuing reports on the status of documentation
- Develop and implement procedures and activities for the collecting, safeguarding, retaining, and controlling documents, drawings, records, and data
- Responsible for the management and distribution of all technical queries (e.g., Request for Information (RFI)) received through Aconex.
- Develop and implement relevant training manuals/instructions to support the implementation of Aconex
- Provide training to both internal and contractor teams on the Document control procedures and the use of Aconex.

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Extensive document control/management experience using Aconex
- Experience working in mining/construction highly advantageous
- Experience in Electronic Document Management System set-up and implementation
- Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
