**About the role**:
This is a hands-on, collaborative role that provides an opportunity to work in a fast-paced, publicly listed Australian tech company and would best suit someone who is seeking an opportunity to make an impact.

This role monitors hipages' Group commercial performance and forecasting the business' financial trajectory. With the support of 1 direct report, this role maintains and updates the company's financial model, ensuring accurate budgeting and forecasting based on backed-up commercial assumptions and strategic initiatives.

**How you will add value**:

- Leading a finance analyst to deliver commercial and financial analysis
- Closely monitoring hipages' commercial performance overseeing weekly analysis and reporting to the Senior Leadership Team
- Maintaining hipages Group's financial model, translating commercial assumptions, key stakeholders' input, and prioritised strategic initiatives into detailed budgets and financial forecast
- Partnering with functional department heads to support them in managing their budget throughout the year including cost variance analysis on a monthly basis
- Collaborating with department heads and finance function to take ownership and deliver a quarterly reforecast P&L, Balance sheet and Cash flow
- Contributing to monthly Board reporting including providing commentary, commercial insights and variance analysis
- Contributing to the continuous improvement and automation of commercial finance processes and deliverables, in collaboration with the Finance and Data teams
- Assisting Head of Strategy & Commercial with ASX announcements and M&A projects as required, and contribute to cross-functional initiatives and projects

**About you**:

- 4+ years experience from an accounting background, CA or CPA qualified preferred.
- High proficiency in Excel and financial modelling capabilities.
- Good interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset.
- Knowledge of SQL is advantageous but not required.
