**Basketball Ballarat**
Proudly providing the communities of Western Victoria with opportunities to participate in indoor sports for over 40 years, Basketball Ballarat has grown and developed over this time into the organisation it is today.
Now a diverse and growing business which operates competitions across a range of sports for people of all ages, a successful hospitality business, a range of community programs and elite teams participating in national competitions that attract athletes from around the world. These current programs see 8,500 users interact with Basketball Ballarat each week.
**The Role**
- Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will work Monday to Friday based at the front desk, you will welcome all patrons as they enter the venue, while also providing the same impeccable customer service in answering inbound phone calls. This role will see you provide a range of administrative support to competitions and programs while also assisting with venue set up for different programs and groups. _
**_Other duties would include:_**
- _Cash handling and daily banking_
- _Collating weekly basketball checklists into report form_
- _Supervising the venue and its participants_
- _Changing of court set up to comply with bookings_
- _Other tasks delegated by Operations Manager_
Skills and Experience you have or are keen to develop
- Good verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers
- Computer proficiency (MS Office - Word, Excel and Outlook)
- Ability to get on with your work diligently while unsupervised
- ability to respond to and solve problems
- **A level of comfort in working with people, confidence interacting with and helping patrons that you are meeting for the first time**
