**About The Role**
In your new role as Business Account Manager, you will be accountable for growth, margin and customer targets through the acquisition and retention of new and existing business customers throughout the Gold Coast. In addition to your drive for results, your natural ability in building strong commercial relationships will help you succeed in managing the sales funnel from lead to contracting process. Your genuine care for providing a continuous positive experience will also assist you in managing and maintaining the retention of the existing customer portfolio.
Key duties will include but not be limited to:
- Developing account management plans for assigned portfolio
- Conducting account management reviews and customer meetings
- Resigning of existing customer portfolio in line with revenue and profitability objectives
- Grow customer profitability and sales volume in assigned portfolio
- Provide timely and relevant competitor information and market intelligence
- Reporting results and compliance to CRM/sales tools
- Achieve growth in new business sales in the allocated territory or segment.
- Support the development and implementation of marketing strategies to win new business
- Communicate sales leads and new business opportunities to other teams
- Contribute to the preparation of volume and margin budgets for the allocated territory as required
- Comply with Origin HSE, codes of practice, standards, policies, and operating procedures
- Meet safety and HSE requirements within area of responsibility
**IS THIS YOU?**
You’ll need to have exceptional communication skills with the ability to easily build rapport with others.
You can show, through the work you’ve done that you have:
- Sales skills will be looked on favourably
- Extensive experience in B2B sales or Account Management
- ability to communicate with large and small business stakeholders
- History of meeting or exceeding sales targets with commercial and industrial customers
- Works collaboratively with different stakeholders to deliver great tailored solutions to customers and for Origin
- Current drivers’ licence is essential for travel and meeting with customers across the region
