The Security & Risk Analyst has the responsibility to ensure all aspects of information security align with IT policies and business requirements (people, process and technologies) and take responsibility for protecting our client’s intellectual property, information and operational assets, regulated data and reputation.

The Information Security and Risk Analyst is also responsible for ensuring compliance with internal and external information security requirements and standards whilst supporting a governance framework to assess, monitor and test day to day compliance to identify areas of non-compliance so that remediation activities can be identified and implemented.

**Key Skills & Responsibilities**
- Certification: CISSP, CISM or relevant.
- Cyber Security Knowledge: In-depth understanding of cyber security principles, threats, vulnerabilities, and risk management frameworks.
- Security Incident Response and Handling
- Vulnerability Assessment and Management
- Security Tools: Familiarity with security tools such as Microsoft Defender, Darktrace IDS/IPS, firewalls, antivirus solutions, and network monitoring tools.
- Security Compliance: Understanding of security compliance frameworks, regulations (and industry standards (e.g., ISO 27001, VPDSF) to ensure adherence to security requirements.
- Significant interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to develop effective working relationships.
- Resilience and proven ability to adapt style and approach to suit varying situations.
- Attention to detail.
