About the Role:
The Business Relationship Manager is responsible for managing a portfolio of key customer accounts in the Commercial and Industrial segment of the Momentum Energy retail business. They are responsible to manage, service, maintain and grow their portfolio responsible for volumetric, revenue, and customer targets. The Business Relationship Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing successful sales and renewal strategies throughout the Commercial and Industrial segment, across both direct and indirect channels to create accretive value for the business.

Your Key Activities Will Include:

- Be an active member of and contribute to the Customer Growth team and foster collaboration across all areas of the business
- Adopt innovation and conceptual thinking in daily transactions, always having a mind-set of how might we complete each process better.
- Focus on providing a bespoke, best in class Customer Service experience to large market customers.
- Provide a first class customer service offering to commercial and industrial customers with a ‘one stop shop’ and a ‘first contact resolution’ mindset
- Perform a wide range of tasks and activities associated with the full life cycle of a business customers needs including but not limited to; billing, account maintenance, collections, sales, customer service, retention and renewals.
- Execute on a focussed and intentional strategy to maximise customer renewals commencing from at least six months prior to the completion of a contract, ensuring all customers receive appropriate offers for all renewals and products that may suit them.
- Meet individual performance targets, including upsell, cross-sell, renewal and acquisition targets.
- Generate opportunities and business for both Momentum Energy and the Hydro Emerging Tech team for our non-core products, including opportunities such as VPP, MES, PEP, and CPPA, as well as managing downgrades, and generating mass market opportunities from your existing commercial portfolio
- Provide market intelligence on previous pricing performance, as well as any other blockers to commercial success.

About you and Your Experience:

- Experience within the Energy Industry
- Experience in a Sales\Business Relationship\Business Development environment
- Demonstrated strength in sales
- Demonstrated strength in customer service
- Demonstrated ability to manage and grow a customer portfolio
- A knowledge of energy or other relevant commodity markets
- An ability to undertake analytical tasks
- The ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
- Intimate knowledge of the National Electricity Market
- Exposure to the Commercial and Industrial segment within Energy Retail
