As a Compensation Advisor, you will play a pivotal role in minimizing debt exposure, adhering to industry regulations, and independently managing a varied compensation case portfolio. Join us and contribute to driving successful payment recovery strategies while providing expertise in systems implementation and analytics adoption.
**How will I help?**
- Conduct compensation cases within an agreed annual work program
- Review individual compensation cases to determine where payments for claims should be made by a third-party and instigate recoveries.
- Manage compensation cases with accurate and timely provision of claims information to third parties to drive recovery of compensable funds.
- Work with the Claims Integrity Data Science team to leverage data and process change to drive an increase in the prevention and recovery of payments that are the responsibility of a third-party.
- Prioritize activities so the compensation function meets annual operating plan (financial) targets.

**What do I need?**
- Minimum three years’ experience with a Private Health Insurer and/or experience in a legal or paralegal position.
- Demonstrated understanding of health insurer claims processes.
- Understanding of State legislations relating Worker’s compensation, motor vehicle accidents, medical indemnity, public liability (desirable).
- Demonstrated ability to operate with multiple workstreams and competing priorities to achieve or exceed targets.
- Strong written and presentation skills with attention to detail
- Ability to analyse complex data, pulling out key highlights which can be understood by management
