Then you could be the perfect Clinical Nurse Unit Manager (NUM1) to join the professionals at Justice Health and Forensic Mental Health Network. Specifically, we’re looking for a Clinical Nurse Unit Manager (NUM1) that has current authority to practice as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia. Here at Justice Health and Forensic Mental Health Network, the Nurse Unit Manager (NUM1) is a leadership role which has a line management role and clinical operations responsibility for a specialist Custodial Mental Health (CMH) designated area at Silverwater or Long Bay Correctional Complex. The NUM1 is an integral part of the CMH nursing management team and is responsible, in conjunction with the Custodial Mental Health Nursing Unit Manager 3 for local level planning, development, implementation and evaluation of specialist mental health nursing services and for overseeing the delivery of those services. The NUM1 will work within Justice Health and Forensic Mental Health Network (the Network) and NSW Ministry of Health policies, procedures and guidelines as well as the relevant Corrective Services NSW legislation, regulations, and policies.

- Proven ability in incident management and reporting systems within a quality improvement and governance framework.
- Proven ability in Windows based programs and computer based rostering, audit and incident management systems.
- Proven ability to co-ordinate several activities simultaneously to meet identified outcomes and time lines.
