**Role**:
The primary function of the Daily Organiser is to support the college¿s daily operations by ensuring that there is mínimal impact on student learning from staff absences and college events. The successful applicant will be responsible for arranging the cover of classes for school staff who are absent due to leave or school-related programs.

This position assumes a significant level of autonomy and responsibility, and requires outstanding administration, organisation and interpersonal skills. The Daily Organiser is required to be professional and courteous and to demonstrate a high degree of judgement, initiative and confidentiality. The Daily Organiser reports to the Director of Student Services and Operations.

**Responsibilities**:
**General**

**Manage the Daily Organisation of College Staff and Programs**
- Manage the daily allocation of cover classes, time in-lieu and replacement duties in the event of staff leave or other activities.
- Track and report on staff absences and the allocation of teaching duties (yard duties, cover classes and time in-lieu).
- Work with Planning and Induction Leader to manage the employment of Casual Relief Teachers (CRTs) including recruitment, induction, payment, management and record keeping.
- Coordinate effective communication of Daily Operations through regular reporting lines.
- Ensure that all daily organisational tasks are carried out in accordance with school policies, procedures, and relevant regulations.
- Provide administrative support in relation to staff allocation and timetable management.

**Scheduling**
- Ensure effective scheduling of all exams, activities and events.
- Ensure that all staff duties (e.g. Yard Duty Supervision) and rooming is visible on Compass for routine and episodic events and programs.
- Maintain the college¿s calendar in Compass, the school¿s Learning Management System.
- In conjunction with the relevant staff, schedule staffing for excursions, camps and other school activities ensuring that the Victorian Department of Education and Training guidelines are followed.
- Ensure effective and timely communication about changes to the normal school schedule.
