**Your day to day**:
*** As **Front Office Manager **you will inspire and engage your team to deliver quality service through effective management of all front office operations including guest services, reservations, concierge, valet and room service. Leading the way in creating a professional, welcoming atmosphere connecting with our guests and visitors on a first name basis and building strong relationships. Daily interactions will be varied and you will be skilled at balancing the needs of various stakeholders.**

**A typical day will generally consist of**:

- **Ensuring the Front Office team have the available resources to deliver great service, through regular team meetings, handovers and briefing meetings**:

- **Ensuring your team are properly trained and have the necessary tools and equipment to carry out their roles to a high standard**:

- **Working closely with Human Resources to drive recruitment, onboarding and engagement strategies for the department**

- **Overseeing the night audit function and preparing daily financial reports**:

- **Developing plans to increase occupancy and ADR through walk-ins and upselling**:

- **Championing hotel credit and cash handling procedures, WH&S requirements and stock management**:

- **Driving adhoc project work and continuous improvement initiatives as required

**The technical components of this role will require**:

- **Previous Hotel leadership experience driving 5-star luxury standards**:

- **Familiarity with OPERA**:

- **Full open manual driver's license (desirable)**:

- **First Aid/CPR/RMLV certification (although we can provide this training for you if required)**:

- **Flexibility to support your team on the ground which involves working nights, weekends, and public holidays
