The Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RANZCOG) is the leading standards body responsible for the training and education of specialists and GP obstetricians in obstetrics and gynaecology in Australia and New Zealand.

RANZCOG is committed to the establishment and maintenance of the highest possible standards of practice in women's health and provides programs in training, accreditation and continuing professional development (CPD) that are responsive to the evolving health care needs of women.

RANZCOG supports research into women's health and act as an advocate for women's healthcare by forging productive relationships with individuals, the community and professional organisations, both locally and internationally.

**Description**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Coordinate initiatives that enable and support members and staff, to support their health and wellbeing.
- Champion and create awareness and access of resources and services to members and staff
- Coordinate initiatives and education opportunities which support equity to minority, marginalized or disadvantaged groups.
- Develop and coordinate peer networks of members in Australia and New Zealand who promote and advocate for the health and wellbeing of members.
- Coordinate annual Wellbeing Awards (team and individual) for O&G departments and trainees in Australia and New Zealand.
- Coordinate educational events for staff, members and trainees
- Communicate initiatives and resources that promote and support mental health, wellbeing, diversity and inclusion to our membership through a range of channels
- Provide professional and timely support for working groups, committees and projects within the diversity, inclusion and wellbeing space

**Skills and Experiences**:
Knowledge and awareness of health and wellbeing strategies provided by membership organisations
Experience in planning, implementing and evaluating health and wellbeing activities and programs
Confidence in dealing with emotional stakeholders, ensuring not to counsel members, but to listen and provide information relating to resources and promotion of support services
Understanding of challenges and barrier facing disadvantaged or vulnerable groups, e.g. First nations, LGBTIQ, CALD background, those with mental or physical impairments
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Extensive administrative skills including in the use of Microsoft Office
Excellent relationship building skills
Demonstrated commitment to ongoing learning
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a small team

This role requires some out of hours work and some travel within Australia and New Zealand. (The College offers time off in lieu and flexible working arrangements at times when out of hours work is required).
