The College is seeking an ongoing Full Time Alumni and Philanthropy Officer for immediate start (negotiable) who will be responsible for key stakeholder management and the coordination of a wide range of Alumni and Foundation activities including College Reunions, Events, Annual Giving, Bequests and community engagement.

The successful applicant will work closely with community groups including the College Foundation and Old Collegians Association and provide support to the Director of Community and Development in the Community and Development Team.

St Joseph’s College is seeking to appoint a passionate community-minded person with advanced interpersonal and communication skills.

The successful applicant would demonstrate:

- Advanced Interpersonal and communication skills.
- An ability to communicate publicly and tell the story of the organisation.
- Demonstrated experience with engaging various internal and external stakeholders with an ability to influence people at all levels.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent time management skills.
- A high level of initiative.
- The ability to work both independently and effectively as part of a team.
- Well organised and work with a high degree of accuracy at all times.

It is anticipated that the Alumni and Philanthropy Officer would have the following:

- Experience in administration of a challenging work environment
- Competent IT skills.
- The ability to relate well to staff and students

All individuals employed by the College need to have a Working with Children Card (Employee) and a National Police Record Check.
