About the role
As the Partnerships Officer, you will work proactively with staff and partners to support the development of programs and partnerships that encourage more people to use parks for their health and wellbeing. You will support the capabilities of park staff, volunteers and partners to ensure programs are inclusive and sustainable. The role also supports the management of partnerships and collaborations with external agencies, research organisations and funding bodies to enhance the delivery and effectiveness of identified programs in parks.

**We're looking for someone with**:

- A tertiary qualification in (diploma or degree) in environmental science, public health, community development, international studies or at least three years of relevant experience.
- Demonstrated experience in the development, delivery and evaluation of inclusive community programs, preferably in natural settings.
- Working knowledge of partnership principles, community engagement aligned with the International Association for Public Participation (iap2) and National Standards for Volunteer Involvement.
- A current Resume
- A cover letter addressing the Key Selection Criteria (KSC) as outlined in the position description.

About the Branch
The Strategic Partnerships Branch is responsible for national and international engagement, accessibility and inclusion, cultural diversity and nature-based health at the state-wide level, aligned with Parks Victoria's Healthy Parks Healthy People approach. The Branch sets the strategic directions and standards, brokers partnerships, provides leadership, offers specialist technical advice to staff and partners, and coordinates monitoring, evaluation and reporting across these portfolios.
